Give your clothes a second life! This class introduces visible mending, sashiko stitching, hand-sewing basics, and practical fixes like repairing torn jeans. You’ll leave with skills to make your wardrobe last longer.
Bring a couple of your favorite items in need of repair and we’ll see where a few stitches can get them back in working order.
5‑Workshop Bundle - the best value and the most rewarding way to grow your confidence with sewing, mending, and upcycling.
With this bundle, you can freely choose any five workshop dates that suit your schedule. Explore all of our beginner-friendly themes—bags, small gifts, repairs, and alterations—or repeat your favorites for extra practice. Each session builds your skills step by step, helping you keep materials in use and reconnect with the joy of making something with your own hands.

Important Information
We provide two sewing machines and all materials for the classes.
You are welcome to bring your own machine if you know it is in working order and can change the bobbin and do a straight stitch.
If you need help getting acquainted with a new or vintage machine, contact us for a 1:1 session.
If you want to use your own fabric, make sure it has gone through at least one wash cycle.
The best fabrics for beginners are natural woven materials, such as cotton or linen.
